About This Watch
The 2013 Jack Heuer 1887 has a large 45mm case (2mm smaller than the Mikrogirder) that is made from a combination of steel and titanium. The black fixed bezel is steel coated with titanium carbide.
The idea behind the design of the watch is that it combines the look of a stopwatch and the look of a traditional wristwatch.
Taking it's name from the legendary, and highly dangerous, Carrera Panamericana road-race, TAG Heuer's Carrera Automatic is designed to be unyielding in even the most strenuous driving conditions. A shock resistant, waterproof case with a highly legible dial featuring luminous hands and markers culminate in a watch capable of precision and durability regardless of the hazards of the road. Moreover, the wide 45mm black sun-brushed dial with twin chronometers and a black titanium case adds a distinctly stylish element and pays due reference to TAG Heuer's motor racing heritage.
